Lions International Peace Poster Competition

Each year Lions clubs from around the world proudly sponsor the Lions International Peace Poster Contest in local schools and youth groups. This art contest for kids encourages young people worldwide to express their visions of peace.  For 25 years, more than four million children aged 11-13 from nearly 100 countries have participated in the contest.

Young Ambassador of the 21st Century

It is a misconception that all young people in the community are selfish and uncaring, as the media often portray them.  Instead many show a great deal of care and compassion to people within the community.

The Lions Young Ambassador scheme acknowledges the work of young people working as volunteers and gives them recognition they deserve ... boosting their self esteem, their confidence in themselves and highlighting the charities and volunteer groups with which they are involved.
