Joining forces with the Rotary Club of Callington has allowed us to deliver first aid training in schools across the area. Age appropriate training from Age 8 where basic first aid is covered to secondary school age who complete a more advanced level and A Level Students who get to complete the full qualification of First Aid in the Work Place. Over 2000 pupils have been trained to date.
Samworth Brothers/The Cornwall Bakery / Ginsters are fantastic supporters of Community projects. From assisting us with events large and small, offering hampers for our raffle drawers and entertaining the children at Honey Fair with pasty crimping. They even sponsor our Club Mascot Lenny the Lion.
Working with Callington Town Council to deliver a variety of events to the community from a free film show to families on a monthly basis, Halloween and Christmas events and Competitions such giving our supporters the opportunity to help decorate our town with their artwork.

A joint effort from organisations within Callington join together to install defibrillators around Callington and the surrounding area ensuring residents are never far away from access to a Defib in an emergency.

We have members who are trained and qualified to assist with Cardiac Screening for both adults and children all for a small donation. Identifying potential heart conditions early before a problem occurs.

We support Callington Primary School in many ways. From providing food for the breakfast club, laptops and phones for observations and competitions for the children.
In Sep 2026 we shall also be working with some of the children as part of our ROAR Project
We work with most of the event organisers in the area to provide stewarding for events such as the Christmas Light Switch On, Remembrance Parade, Kelliwik Golawi and Callington Laser Light Show. We also help other Lions Clubs with their events. All hands to deck to support each other.
A large number of our team are Qualified to varying levels of First Aid. Providing provisions to others for First Aid cover for their events aswell as on a day to day basis in the community. Our members Qualifications cover Adults, Peadiatrics and First Responders Levels.
St Mary's Church offer a great deal of things to do suitable for all the community and work tirelessly with organisations to bring a sense of fun to the church. Shanty singing, arts and crafts and even wine tasting. We are proud to help with their endevours in the community.
