Honey Fair 2022 - Terms and Condition for Stall Holders


Bookings are only confirmed once accepted by the Lions Club of Callington (LCC) and paid for in full. LCC may refuse to accept a booking without providing an explanation to the stall holder.

Pitch locations will be allocated at the discretion of LCC although we will do our best to meet your requests for specific location or area.

Bookings from stall holders who have booked in the previous year and failed to turn up on the day will only be accepted if paid for in advance.

In order to minimise administration and cost to LCC we would ask that where possible booking fees are paid direct to the LCC bank account whose details are:

Otherwise by cheque made payable to Callington Lions Club Fundraising Account and posted to the address below.

By making a booking and paying the appropriate fee the stall holder is deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions

Before the event

Before the event the stall holder must conduct an appropriate health and safety risk assessment and undertake whatever actions are necessary to mitigate risk to the public.

The stall holder must have appropriate insurances for attendance at the event and must comply with all statutory regulations.

NEW REQUIREMENT: All stall holders must provide a copy of their insurance certificate with their booking. Where a certificate is not provided entry will be refused.

The Callington Lions Club reserve the right to request copies of your risk assessment and/or you certificate of insurance and to refuse entry if these are not forthcoming or adequate.

On the day

Fore Street and New Road will be subject to a formal road closure notice from 7:00pm on the preceding night until 7:30pm on the day. Stall holders will be permitted to drive onto these roads for the purposes of unloading/loading only but all vehicles must be off site by 9:00am. Vehicle entrance to the site will be via the West end of Fore Street (opposite end from the traffic-lights) and vehicles will exit from New Road. Once unloaded vehicles should be removed from the site as soon as possible before setting up. For those leaving early vehicles will be allowed into Fore Street for loading from 5:30 and exit will be via the East end of Fore Street (traffic-light end). Access to the main site at the end of the day will be as per the morning with no vehicles allowed on site before 7:00pm.

There is free parking on the playing field off Saltash Road.

On arrival please report to the Marshalls at the entrance who will confirm your pitch location, please check before setting up in case of any last minute changes.
